Powerful and stable IXC Softswitch 5.1. features even more intelligent and sophisticated call routing. Together with enhanced graphic web interface it allows service providers to significantly reduce complexity of routing and managing VoIP traffic.

Features of IXC Softswitch 5.1:

Network and equipment compatibility
IXC v.5 system proposes a ready solution for smoothing VoIP protocols diversities between different equipment vendors. Such solution allows you to interconnect VoIP networks that would not work directly due to their VoIP protocol dialect variances.

IXC v.5 system provides you with VoIP protocols conversion that allows you to do the following translations:
H.323 – SIP
SIP – H.323

IXC v.5 supports all types of VoIP media codecs and provides functionality such as codec filtering both from origination and termination sides, change of codec payload type, conversion of codecs. IXC v.5 supports and converts the following media codecs: clear-channel, g723ar, g723ar53, g723ar63, g726r16, g726r24, g726r32, g711alaw , g711ulaw, g7231, g728, g729br8, g729r8, gsmefr, gsmfr, g729abr8, g729ar8, g722, g726r40, g726

IXC Media Converter module is responsible for both media proxy and codec converting. Media Converter can be located either on the main server with a Softswitch or on the separate server. You can start your business with a full-capacity system using only one server and when you have more traffic you can move Media Converter to the separate server that will reduce the loading of the Softswitch server.

Routing system
IXC Softswitch v.5 has an improved routing system with possible routing customization for each client individually. It is possible to route calls based on:
- Price (Least cost routing)
- Predefined level of income
- Quality values (ASR, ACD, and PDD)
- Accessibility of equipment
- Total value of terminator
- Called party number
- Technical prefix
- External routing rules (based on C++ plugging)

Financial module
IXC Financial module is a set of utilities and reports which covers all angles of your financial activity. The main feature of IXC Financial module is its diverse functionality that involves accounting of different services and products exchange, including all kind of incomes,expenses, salaries and other.

Business schemes
IXC system allows you to implement both prepaid and postpaid business schemes. In case of prepaid scheme the system does an auto blocking as soon as client reached his credit limit.

Profitability
IXC v.5 system ensures profitability of your traffic. Even if you made a mistake configuring the route or destination rates the system will not pass through unprofitable calls. Also you can set an absolute or a percentage of income for each client and the system will route calls only to those terminators who give you preset level of income.

Proxy types
IXC v.5 system supports different types of proxying: full proxy and signaling only proxy. Proxy type can be set in the individual mode for each client/vendor. Full proxy mode allows you to keep confidential your clients/vendors information by substituting partners IP-addresses by IP-addresses of your system.

System monitoring
Multiple monitors of system performance, network interface loading, active calls and visual graphics will help you to monitor the whole system working process.

CDRs reports
IXC system provides you with detailed reports for checking CDRs. Such reports contain all necessary information about your calls. And you can easily export your CDRs to CVS files and send them to your clients or partners.

H.323 gatekeeper and SIP registrar functionality
IXC system includes the functionality of H.323 gatekeeper and SIP registrar that allows you to work with a wide range of terminators which require such kind of authentication.

Translation of A-numbers
IXC v.5 comes up with flexible translation capabilities. You can use the list or range of numbers to make needed translation. Rules for translation can be set individually for each origination or termination device

Disconnect codes
IXC system features a detailed disconnect codes statistic. Such feature allows you to analyze the traffic and to better understand the reasons of calls disconnections.
In your everyday's work you can face a situation when clients ask you to replace disconnection codes of failed calls with the purpose to improve rerouting of their traffic. IXC solves this issue by its H.323 disconnect codes replacement tools. Replacement rules can be created specifying what codes need to replace and to what value.

FAS detection
FAS detection utility allows you to detect H.323 providers that mix their traffic with FAS. Some providers don’t follow the correct H.323 call session: send immediate Connect message, can omit some messages or send them too fast. IXC system analyzes signaling messages time arriving intervals and compares them with set in the system values.

XML-RPC support
IXC v.5 supports XML-RPC protocol. So our software can be easily integrated with your systems.

Troubleshooting system
Troubleshooting system provides a possibility to see the softswitch service information and trace the calls directly from the web-interface.

Dynamic IP-addresses
IXC system gives you an opportunity to connect to your network clients and providers with dynamically changing IP-addresses. So once the system receives a registration it automatically knows where to send the calls and you do not need to have static IP.

NAT support
Support of NAT technology is available to IXC system so if you have clients located behind NAT you can easily connect them to the Sofswitch.
